Forty Percent of SMEs Are Using Cloud Computing.

“NEARLY 40pc of small firms are now using cloud computing technology in their business, according to new statistics.

A report from accounting software firm Sage Ireland found that 38pc of SMEs are using the cloud, mainly because of the lower costs involved for the business and the ability to access information anywhere.

The research, which was released to coincide with the launch of Sage’s new “Sage 200 ERP Suite” of financial software, shows the increasing importance of the cloud in the small business sector.”
